Ahhh, thank you for such undeserved praise! <3 <3 Unicorns are the greatest, aye? ~♫
I’m just glad you found it again - I hate losing fics before I read the ending, even though I do it all the time! Haha. :)
…. and i don’t have the link… only on my itouch….
Gee, that fanfiction’s plot sure sounds familiar to me.
xD
Ireland didn’t come last, and the UK just about avoided last place (sorry Norway! I liked you!). All in all, a fairly good Eurovision result for my dear islands. :)
Sweden was well-deserving of the win, though, but I was secretly hoping the Russian grannies would come up trumps, haha!
Tóg go bog é!
Tuirseach… Níor chodail mé mórán. Tá mé ghnóthach. Go mbeidh mé ag glacadh sosa, amhrán a chumadh, ha-ha. x)

…Totally read that as “I’m coming right now” and I regret nothing.

Saw this on my daily root through the morning’s terrible newspapers, this one being The Sun. Article text:
Two tiny countries will today slug it out for footie glory in Britain - hours before the FA cup final. Sealand vs the Chagos Islands will be watched by around 100 fans at Godalming FC in Surrey. The Chagos people were evicted from their Indian Ocean islands 40 years ago and now live in the UK. Sealand - a sovereign principality based on a former North Sea military platform - are playing their first match.
Sealand apparently still has a football team? Go on my son. The article is a bit wrong, though; Sealand’s first game was against the Åland Islands in 2004.
